The first episodes of "GOOD MORNING MS. BLISS"(Later called Saved By the Bell), aired on the Disney channel in the 80's. The nerdy character was not Screech, but a character played by Jaleel White, who later used that character as "Urkel" on Family Matters. The Pilot episode also featured Jonathan Brandis. Brian Austin Green was also on the show. Some dude named Oliver Clark played Mr. Belding. The show only had about 10 episodes, and then it changed over to NBC with the new cast, including Mark Paul Gosselear, Dustin, Lark and the rest. But I am just so curious what those first Disney Channel episodes were like. Has anyone ever seen them?

I own the very first pilot with Jaleel White and B.A.G. But I've never seen the rest of them. From what I remember, it isn't anything to what we've grown to love. The chemistry wasn't really there. The cast wasn't all that good. I am glad they were able to evolve the show to what we know today. No comparison. It would have never been as successful as SBTB.

Erika, you never saw the Good Morning, Miss Bliss episodes? ...They air them on TBS now, minus the pilot, and minus the original theme/title. I always thought you had seen them.
Edit: Well, maybe not TBS. lol They don't air any of them anymore, correct? ...So sad.

They do play the Good Morning Ms. Bliss episodes on TBS, but they are not the VERY original ones. The very first one only had less than ten shows and was on the Disney Channel. The one's they show on TBS in the morning was after it moved to NBC. I just wanted to see Jaleel White, Brian Austin Green and those guys who were on the pilot. It's one of those things that I'm sure sucked, but I'm just so curious because I'm a SBTB fan. I've never heard of them airing anywhere anymore at any time.I guess maybe I'd have to look for the DVD. I belong to this real hippie, quirky video store that would probably have it. They have all these weird videos like Corey Haim's Me myself and I where he is drugged out and hanging out at his house. They also have a weird video from Mr. T called "Be somebody...or be somebody's fool!!!" lol....so I'm going to check for the SBTB pilot..I must see it....I MUST!!!!!!

What? There is only one VERY original one, and it was just a pilot on NBC that was cancelled, Disney Channel decided to air it and Peter Engel revamped the show into what would become SBTB. After Miss Bliss was cancelled after 13 episodes on disney, they decided to air it as a saturday morning show, just about the kids not Miss Bliss, and that became SBTB. The Original GMMB Pilot only aired once if I'm correct, not many have seen it. A few months ago some guy scammed some people on here claiming he had it, but it's really hard to get your hands on.

Yep Aaron is right. There was only the pilot. There wasn't a series that followed Jaleel White and BAG. etc. I own the pilot. What I should do is send it to Barb so she can rip it. (I believe she knows how to do it.) I will try to get into the attic one of these weekends and get my husband to bring it down. Barb, if I ship it to you, would you be able to do it? I mean, I know sooooo many people are desperate to view it.

I will have to get my equipment off of Eric though, he was borrowing it to do home movies last year...he's done with it though, so it's no problem. Besides, it's mine. LOL

I see...I searched on the internet and it was a little confusing because it said the the Original show w/B.A.G. and those guys ran for 10 episodes or so on the Disney Channel. What must have happened is that they filmed the pilot, Disney bought it but changed the cast, and then finally NBC took the whole thing over, making it the SBTB we know now. However I still am Dying to see the pilot. Like I said before, I'm sure it's a letdown, but having seen every SBTB I just feel incomplete..lol...having never seen the pilot with Jaleel White and Brian Austin Green. It also will be weird to see someone being called Mr. Belding that isn't the Belding we know...someone post it!!! Thanks and sorry for the confusion
