Oh this is fabulous news! Oh, it'll take ages to collect all the seasons though. I'm especially excited because I don't get the show in reruns...most the episodes I haven't seen since the days it was on FOX. Is it still on FX? Or better yet, does the FX still exist? LOL
My favorite episodes are the one where Kelly gets shot after their trip from Hawaii and the the final episodes.

That's great news for 90210 fans - although I have to admit that, since the final season never aired in the UK, I've already bought a (let's say non-authentic) season 10 DVD from eBay! For shame!

Truth be told, I'm glad they won't be out till November. I can't afford them right now and I could see them being kind of pricey. If I'm correct, each season contained about 32 episodes. I remember seeing an interview with Gabrielle Carteris a few years agoe and she said when the show started, that's how many episodes they did a season. Here in Ontario, I don't know if it's accross Canada, but one of our stations Prime, has been changed to Tropolis. This station airs the show Monday through Friday. But They just started this month and started from the VERY beggining. So the episodes with Tiffani won't be airing for awhile and there are going to be SO many episodes that I haven't seen since they originally aired. So, I'm all excited about the show hitting the DVD shelves and the timing because then I will be able to afford them.

There were 22 episodes in the first season, season 2 had 28, season 3 had 30, season 4 had 31, season 5 had 32, season 6 had 32, season 7 had 32, season 8 had 32, season 9 had 26, and season 10 had 27. That's a lot of episodes. LOL I believe they got cancelled because no one was buying from their sponsors and the show was too expensive to make because no one wanted to advertise during their show, so there was no money?

naa it didnt get canceled really. at the start of season 10 they decided that would be the last. they were just running out of stories and didnt want it to turn into a really boring show. i think they made the right choice.
and fx is still around but 90210 is not shown on there. its only on soapnet now which i dont get.

Yeah, I guess I didn't mean cancelled. I'm sure that's a huge part of it, but I remember hearing about companies not wanting to purchase commercial time during the show.
...I'll be getting SoapNet when I go up to school, that's part of their cable package up there...so I'll probably drive my roommate nuts with repeats of 90210 LOL ;D

I stopped watching it after Tiffani left. lol But I can imagine that things were getting to expensive and they probably wanted to end the show rather than having it be canceled.

I was hooked from the very beginning actually...which surprises me because it's not really a show for a little kid LOL I'm surprised my mother let me watch it actually. But yeah, I've been a fan from the beginning...my sister's 10 years older than me and she's about the age they were on 90210, so she was always watching it too and she got me hooked. LOL I credit her for most of the shows I watched growing up...and it's funny cause she used to have to twist my arm to watch those shows, but she had control of the remote so I had no choice. She did that with Full House too amazingly...she only watched that in the beginning though, but just long enough to get me interested. See, as a kid the only shows I would watch on my own were cartoons and SBTB...that was it...besides Nickelodeon, Saturday mornings on NBC, and Disney the other channels didn't exist. LOL

I stopped watching Saturday morning TV before Saved By The Bell aired. I was a massive tom-boy, would get up early in the mornings and head outside. When I became a teen, I started watching more TV. I have said this before, but when I was staying with my grandparents, my grandma handed me the remote. Started flipping through the channels then stopped when I saw a hot looking guy standing in a school doorway. Saved By The Bell was nearing the end of its 2nd season by this time. I just became hooked! I loved all the characters. Then when I found out that Tiffani was heading over to 90210, there was just no way I was going to miss a single episode.

Wow, it's about time that 90210 gets it's own DVD set. I'm surprised that it took so long for it to happen but better late than never. Honestly, I didn't watch the show much when Tiffani was on but with the DVDs coming out I'd love to rediscover 90210. I loved the first few seasons with Shannen.
