All,
I'm new on the site! My favorite character is Lisa, but I'm wondering if anyone would like to join a thread about Tori? My brother thinks that the Tori era episodes are the best, but I disagree. She didn't really fit in with the gang in my opinion. I guess she just rubbed me the wrong way. Any one have thoughts?

Welcome Aboard! I agree with you, I was a not big Tori fan either. Basically she was just a fill in for Kelly and Jessie. She could never replace those two, not by a long shot. Besides the fact, I didn't see the chemistry with her and Zack. I guess they felt like Lisa needed a female friend since Tiffani and Elizabeth quit the show, but those Tori episodes just didn't make sense. I didn't like how they just up and got rid of Jessie and Kelly with no explanation. Season 4 was confusing with Kelly/Jessie being in one episode, then Tori and then back to Kelly/Jessie, lol. It was all over the place!

I've never really thought the Tori episodes were better or worse. As long as we had Zack, Screech and Lisa it didn't really bother me. It was a nice break from Kelly and Jessie, especially Jessie. But I do agree the mix of different episodes with Tori and then Kelly and Jessie were confusing. It would have been nice to see some continuity.

Don't get me wrong though, some of the Tori episodes weren't bad. I really liked the one with Tori & Zack on the elevator during an earthquake with a pregnant Mrs Belding. It was interesting how Zack delivered the baby and everything. Thought that one was cute. And also the day of detention one where Zack is trying to get out of detention so that he can win a trip to Hawaii. The different ways he keeps getting out of the classroom and coming back are hilarious, lol. Also the drinking and driving one is good. It really gives you a life lesson on the dangers of drinking and driving. Masquerade Ball was pretty funny with Lisa thinking that Zack was her secret admirer and then freaking out when she found out it was Screech, lol. Sort of like that Good Morning Miss Bliss Episode(except she wasn't thinking of Zack). Also a hoot was Screech and Slater kissing each other in their Halloween costumes at the ball unknowingly, ha ha. But yeah, it was confusing how they mixed those episodes in with the Kelly/Jessie ones. After Tiffani and Elizabeth quit, they should have explained the characters absences somehow. Oh well, what's done is done!

Tori was ok,but to me it was not the same without Jess and Kelly in those episodes!The core seven of Mr Belding,Zack,Slater,Screech,Lisa,Kelly and Jessie Were SBTB and even if one of them were missing it to me would not be the same.The Core 7 made eachother Great!!

Couldn't agree more! It just wasn't the same with Tori and not Jessie/Kelly. Like I said some of the Tori episodes weren't that bad, but they didn't compare to the ones with Kelly & Jessie. At the least they could have explained why the two of them were suddenly not there and Tori was! Mixing the episodes in like they did was confusing. One day they'd be there, the next Tori would be, lol. Kind of silly the way they did it. |

I like Tori myself, I though she added alot of flavor to the episodes and was a pretty good character. However I did miss Kelly and Jessie from the episodes. However the Tori arc was tens of thousands of times better then The College Years or The New Class.

I liked Tori at first, she was different, i loved the fact that she was at odds with Zack in the beginning, (where they couldn't stand each other), the insults back and forth was funny. I started liking her less though when she and Zack started dating, what were the writers thinking??? They had NO chemistry plus they were a bad couple, imo.
