We have no idea why Tiffani didn't appear on Fallon. I hardly believe she would cancel her appearance to avoid being questioned about the reunion. Could she have been feeling sick due to her pregnancy? I think the poor girl is getting alot of slack here. lol

I was just thinking maybe she wasnt feeling well and besides that wasnt ready to tell the world she was pregnant so she decided to cancel it for then. that seems like a good reason to me to cancel! probably why she cant do the reunion now too. thats a good reason if you ask me. lol

Who Really knows the reason!We again got no reason why from Fallon! But it is kinda ironic that the week after the Tiffani Appearence was canceled that the Runion was Scrapped now Diamond From the start has said he wont do a reunion so thats nothing new.Im not blaming Tiffani or anyone just trying to figure out the reason because sadly the SBTB fans that took the time out to sign his petition have got no official reason why from Fallon!Pretty Sad...

probably I also think Dustin Diamond and the fact he fell out with the rest of his old cast mates, which I still think is kind of sad, considering they all worked together on a succesful show for so many years. However, I also think conflicting schedules may have taken a role , given how busy all he former cast still are. I still think its a shame the whole thing got cancelled though. Maybe we should get Justin Lee Collins on the case, the UK TV presenter who went allthe way to the states to do Bring Back Fame and Bring Back the A-team attempting to reunite the cast members. They were good shows too and he did some interviews with cast that weren't interested in being reunited, before he did the reunion with the ones that did want to get together.

This reunion will open a 'whole other can of worms'. There have been to many lies about Lark Voorhies as well as other false statements regarding the well being and livelihood the rest of the cast. We need truth! We need to know that if they ever make any form of a come back, that they can do so with dignity.

A movie version of the popular '90s TV series Saved By The Bell is reportedly in development.
According to website Pajiba, the project is in its early stages and is likely to feature a new cast of characters at Bayside High School. It is not yet known if the stars of the original series Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Tiffany Thiessen, Mario Lopez, Elizabeth Berkley, Lark Voorhies, Dustin Diamond and Dennis Haskins will feature in the new film.
Jon Shestack Productions and producers Jeremy Stein (The Photographer) and Ginny Brewer (Ghosts Of Girlfriends Past) are on board to steer the Saved By The Bell movie.
The show ran from 1989 to 1993 and was later revived for two spinoffs, Saved By The Bell: The College Years and Saved By The Bell: The New Class.

I hope there wont be a remake! They need the original cast or a new set of characters for a movie.
Perhaps a movie version is why the reunion was cancelled.

i Agree i would not do a SBTB Movie unless i had the original cast behind it! Doing a movie with new characters or remakes of the Original wont work at all and i wont be thrilled if it comes to that!It Seems to often today that these producers think all these iconic shows can be remade and thats not the case with SBTB it was in a class of its own and a remake will only fail IMO Unless they can get Mark-Paul,Tiffani,Mario,Dustin,Lark,Elizabeth and Den Commited which i highly doubt happens!!

I never go much on remakes, I never went to see the Fame remake that came out this year, it just wouldn't be the same without the original characters.
If they are going to do this, I think it will be enjoyable for new fans that never saw the original show, but not 'Saved By the Bell' for us fans that saw it origianlly. They tried to do it with another old school show here too, but it never came off as far as I know.
If they are not going to do the reunion, then I say let us remember our favourite show as it was.!!

This is a pretty late reply to the topic, but I thought I would go ahead with it.  Personally, I think a reunion without Dustin Diamond might have allowed for more discussion about cast relationships on and off camera, because if he were there, it would be a constant argument about what one person was saying versus what Dustin had written in his book. I do feel terrible that Dustin thinks that he has to taint other people's reputation in order to make a little money. I think that he made a big mistake and it is unfortunate for us, as fans, if the reason why the reunion did not take place had anything to do with Dustin not cooperating. I think that Dustin's reason for not wanting to participate would have a lot to do with the hateful things he wrote about his former castmates in his book. Dustin was Screech for a long time, ten years or so, and he decides to turn his back on Bayside as soon as people are really excited about seeing everyone again? It is unfortunate for the fans. |
