SBTB:NOW! Blog?

Hey guys!

I've been thinking a lot about bringing SBTB:Now! back to website form. A lot of you understand that the reason I had to let go of www.savedbythebellnow.com was because mostly of the money a month and the time that it needed to run it, since I was planning and getting married, moving, buying my first home, starting my career, etc.

But, as of right now, I am pretty much settled (well for the most part!) and I've been doing a personal blog for a while now. I thought that I'd be able to bring back SBTB:NOW! to a blog version. What do you think?!

Here's the catch. I need a website design and I do not have the materials needed to do this. Running a blog is free, which is great! But I was thinking I can hire a blog designer and work with them to get one up. But this is where the $ would be needed, as a blog design costs about $100 or so.

I know that I have the best fans who have stuck by our little BELL fansite for so long and I thought about running by this to you first. Do you think you'd be able to help and gather others to do the same to help with the design costs? Even if it's just $1 ...that can help me a lot. I know times are tough right now. So, I just wanted to see your reaction to this.

I appreciate all of your support through the years. And I am ready to give back a little more. And I thought a blog would be a great way to have an even a bigger staple on the web.

Fantastic idea! You always thank us die hard fans for our support, but if it wasn't for you we wouldn't have this amazing site. This isn't some cheesy forum. It's a forum where you can tell the the administrator has put alot of pride into it. Thank you for that.

It does sound like a good idea, I might be able to help down the road, currently I am very scrapped for money as I am getting married next year and trying to afford..well everything. I might be able to donate a couple of dollars, as pitiful as that sounds..

I certainly think you could do with some consolidation of the various info streams. The forums are cool, but information tends to be spread out and difficult to find. There there are various bits on FB, and stuff on Twitter too. It would be cool to have a central blog where news could be announced. Also, people could register their feed reader with that, rather than having to scan the forum or FB for updates. People could also comment on the blog. You wouldn't need to create a fancy site. You could use Blogger (for free), and simply attach your domain to it. The only cost is the domain name itself, which I assume you already have. If you were prepared to pay for hosting you could use Wordpress and have a multipage site, as well as a blog (Blogger doesn't easily allow you this). In short Blog == Very Good Idea. Thanks!

I think this is a great idea. I really enjoy reading blogs and would definitely donate some money towards it. I think the web needs more sbtb media.
