I just watched it for the first time yesterday, and it was wicked!
It was the episode where ummm...that guy got shot. ;D 10pm it was on ABC.
I was just wondering if someone could give me a little rundown of the show and characters, I want to start watching weekly. I know the Season Premiere is next week.
Also, I know MPG's name is Clark on the show, but what's the full name?

When i saw it for the first time a thougth i must follow this serie.
Now I watch it for 3 or 4 months.

I have never seen an episode. I hang my head in shame. It comes on ABC and I just can`t seem to get into that channel. Now that that I`m hearing all these great things about Mark-Paul and about NYPD Blue I might just have to tune in and watch.  It must be a great show. It has been on the air almost ten years!! Thats aaaallllloootttt of catching up to do!  |

I've been watching the show religiously since Mark-Paul came aboard. It's really addicting. I think it's the only show on right now where everyone on it gets along great and is just really really nice.
I'll try to give you a short run down on the characters.
John (Mark-Paul) and Andy are partners. John's ex-girlfriend is Rita. Andy's girlfriend/fiancee right now is Connie. Rita and Connie are partners. The squad is run by Rodriguez. He's the guy that got shot on the episode you watched last night. Then you have Baldwin and Medavoy who are partners as well. The two characters that are shown the least are John, the gay secretary and Valerie Haywood, the D.A.
I think that's all of the characters. I know tvtome.com has some great links to reviews/summaries of episodes.

Eww. I could tell John and Rita were gonna get together very early on and I'm glad I missed that whole escapade. I just don't like her for some reason. I think it was the fact that she was married and making eyes at John from the start.[/color]

Okay I dont know her name but she is a model who is now on NYPD Blue and she was on Late Call with Carson Daly and they were talking and towards the end of the interview she talks very briefly about Mark Paul about how people really accept him in that role now and Carson makes some smart ace comment (I did`nt catch it cause I was typing on this forum) but she said your being so mean to him tonight and he was like its not him its Zach you know? uuuuuuuugggghhhhhhh....ggggggggggrrrrrrr.... Why do people make those little smart ace comments about Mark Paul. He`s not Zach any more. He`s one NYPD Blue a whole diff ballgame. That show went off in 1994 get over the I hate Zach comments and move on Carson!  I guess I`m just mad cause I wore my SBTB tee to school tonight and has some Bell haters in class. It was a very verbal discussion on Bell between those who like the show and those who dont till Professor Whelltly walked in and it calmed down but it was just so stupid to defend why I like Bell I stated my ground and said nothing more cause it would have went on forever. Okay on the bright side I can wake up tomm at 7am and start a brand new day w/ TBS and SBTB. |

omg if i saw that carson daly show i wouldve like broken my TV i HATE when ppl make fun of zack - i totally agree the show ended like 9 years ago get over it if u dont like it just say so n move on.. luckily im blessed w/ ppl at my school who ALL loved sbtb when it was on.. i just watch it still b/c its my fav. show of all time n mark-paul was my first crush ever!

i know what you guys are talking about...like a week ago we were takin a test so i took to sk0ol this test book thingie that i have and all over it and inside is SBTB and MARK-PAUL...then some grl and her friends start making fun of him...but the people on my side of the class room got up and they started screaming at them and it was funny because that people on my side are the people everyone is scared of..they think that they are too k0ol but they opend thier folders and it was all SBTB...it was k0ol....and ya i cant wait untill monday cuz i wake up at 7 watch SBTB record NYPD BLUE at 2 then i watch NYPD BLUE again at 6.....but im sooo sad that on MARk-PAULS brithday its the last episode...  |

I must have missed the last ep of season 11, but I was watching the last episode of season 11 and Mark-Paul's gf committed suicide. He had to cry in this epiosode and he did such a good job. I was talking back to the tv and said, the writters are killing me buy writting that in.

When I watched NYPD for the first time, I saw MPG there. I just couldn't see it was him... That was the first and the last time I saw NYPD. And when I heard that that guy was MPG, I couldn't see it anymore, cause I was allready asleep...  |
