I've searched the forum and not seen much about this.
Apparently there were some promos aired during the 'Hawaii' movie that linked up the original cast of SBTB with members of the new class as a way of passing the torch.
I don't have any of the New Class seasons, so I'm not sure if the promos were added to them. I was wondering if they ever made it to DVD or if anybody knew where to find them?
thanks.

I don't recall The New Class even being a thought yet when the Hawaiian Style movie aired. TNC's premiere wasn't until a year later or so. I could be wrong. Just going by memory here. I never saw this promo and I was an avid fan back in the day. If it did air, it wasn't during the Hawaiian Style commercials. Here are the commercials that aired during Hawaiian Stlye. Amazing someone put them on YouTube! www.youtube.com/results?search_query=saved+by+the+bell+hawaiian+style+commericals&aq=oHope this helps any. Thanks for joining the forum!

Oh wow cool.
Looks like it was during a repeat of 'Hawaiian Style' according to The New Class wiki:
"During an NBC repeat of Saved by the Bell: Hawaiian Style (August 7-September 11), the commercial breaks featured original segments, set in Bayside High School and The Max, where the cast of the original series and the cast of the first season of The New Class met and talked with each other. These segments were a "passing of the torch" type of story. Also present were Dennis Haskins as Principal Richard Belding and Bob Golic as the resident advisor from Cal-U. One segment involved Zack and Scott in the school hallway, where Zack gives Scott a list pertaining to Mr. Belding to cause trouble for him. Mr. Belding overhears this and takes the list away, joyfully triumphant at outsmarting Zack. After he walks away, Zack hands Scott "the real list."

Where are these segments? Did no-one seriously think to save them from youtube. I even emailed NBC over a year ago asking where I could find the footage. I received a response but no luck with the footage. They said, "Unfortunately, our website and apps do not host all classic or older content for which we or a partner may hold rights, and NBC Digital Support doesn't have any information regarding digital or physical copies or archives of shows or events that aren't already readily available on the website or within our apps."

Did anyone ever track this down or get confirmation it actually existed? It sounds amazing! It’s so strange it’s never made its way onto YouTube buuuuuut I’ve seen other pieces of lost media that have been lost to time.

Segments were on YouTube back in 2010 as seen in the old post above with a link to them. The channel was taken down and they haven't surfaced again since then. I can't believe no-one thought to save them and post them elsewhere as a backup.
