A great way to sort of dismiss it (for Kelly's end at least) would've been in connection with the Model Students episode. Kelly could've been in Paris or Europe modelling.
When I was young I convinced myself that's what it was!

I never really thought much about their departure when I was younger, however as I got older it bothered me more and more.

What was the real reason they werent there? NBC supposedly asked to extend the season. TAT and EB didn't want to sign new contracts. They wanted to test the movie market. Enter Leanna Creel stage right as a replacement. |

WELL, I have given this too much thought. I thought they could have easily explained it with Kelly and Jessie attending classes at a local college or community college as a post-secondary option. Or even work study, since it was their last semester of senior year. It would have explained their sudden reappearance at graduation and prom (I know that it aired earlier, but normal schools have proms in April and May)...because they would still have had ties to the school and had to have been around sometimes... For outside of school events, I just reason that they hated Tori's existence as much as I did and just stayed away.  When I was younger, I made the Model Students connection too. Darn two year difference.  OMG...this board is so cathartic. This crap has been driving me crazy for years... |
