I will be watching too, but I can honestly say that it's not only because of Mario. I did get hooked in the last 4 to 6 weeks last season. Having Mario as a contestant is just a massive bonus!  |

I just watched Entertainment tonight. They announced all the people that are going to be dancing this season. Lisa Rinna said that Mario Lopez is going to have an advantage because she has seen him dance before and thought he was really good.

I was hooked on this show last year (not that I'm a fan of ballroom dancing or reality shows in general, but the apperance of Stacy Keibler last season may have heavily influenced my interest in this show). One thing that I have realized is that this show is part dancing and part popularity. Expect the more popular competitors to advance early, even if their dancing abilities are not up to par. This would explain how Master P survived week after week, despite his horrible dancing. As the field narrows, judge scoring could affect voting choice and then, only then, would the better dancers win the competition.

Joey Lawrence is going to be on it too..."Woah!" LOL I don't know if he can dance, but that should be interesting. I'm excited...I probably won't watch every season cause I hate reality tv, but I will try to tune in as much as possible just to see how well Mario is doing. If only I knew what times to tune into every episode only to see Mario, that'd be great. haha But Mario has been dancing his whole life, and we've seen some of it and he is good. I think he'll win. At least he better win. LOL  ;D |

Also, Monique Coleman...from High School Musical. Yeah, if kids can get their parents to vote she'll be the winner...there is voting right? LOL Anyways, High School Musical is suppose to be like the thing with the younger ones. I guess it's a HUGE hit.

I'm honestly nervous for Mario. I have seen him dance, but from seeing him on interviews and from getting to kow him better when he co-hosted "The Other Half", I learned that he can get very nervous.  He was on a cop show called "Pacific Blue" for 2 seasons and in one episode there was dancing. I think it was Jazz. In any case, he and his co-star ripped the dance floor apart! But that was him playing a character! This time around it is going to be HIM! I'll be rooting for him for sure, I'm just nervous for him. |

I have never seen "High School Musical". This is going to be a reunion of sorts for Mario. Tom Bergeron is co-hosting and he hosted "Hollywood Squares" in which Mario was on for 2 seperate weeks. 1 of the weeks he was on with Vivica A. Fox. He's connected to Shanna Moakler as well. Back in the late 90's, he co-starred with her on "Pacific Blue" for 2 seasons. This is going to be fun to watch! |

Wow! I didn't know Mario was associated with those people. It will definently be fun to watch. E! news just did a poll of who they thought would win Dancing with the Stars and Mario had the highest vote to win with 41%.
