Please someone can tell me how we (or me at least) help to avoid all this to happen? someone from Canada??? IFAW is an important association over there? I just saw a terrifing video about seals killings and I ask everybody to NOT blink and fake this si not happening and help to do something. While watching pictures and videos of seals massacres, I felt ashamed and embarased for being a human being myself.

You have no idea how delighted I was to find out that one of my childhood idols was also a vegetarian! (I've been one for 8 years and have tried being vegan off and on for a year...still working on it)
I've mainly been a vegetarian as a protest against the meat industry (they don't just hurt animals by the thousands or more...they hurt humans as well in many ways and contribute to pollution)...but also just can't stand the idea of eating meat.
I'm so proud that someone like Elizabeth has the guts to stand up for their beliefs with passion.
