Elizabeth Burkleys acting in this episode was amazing! I loved the way that she made her character go from everythings allright to suddenly break down!

she was taking acting classes with Roy London at the time. Roy London was the acting coach of some of Hollywood most appreciate actors, like Brad Pitt, Geena Davis, Sharon Stone, Patricia Arquette, Forest Whitaker... Elizabeth says he was one of the most insipiring and important persons in her life. He died in 1993.

Roy London was 50 when he died of AIDS in august 1993. They just did a documentary about him which was presented last year at the Tribeca Film Festival. Elizabeth appears twice in the movie and she's in tears remembering him. Elizabeth knows Sharon Stone (also in the documentary) because they took same classes while she was in Bell.

How sad Did Elizabeth just take the classes when she was in SBTB or later aswell?

I suppose while she was in Bell (that means until summer 1992, if you include "Hawaiian Style") and maybe a bit later but since he died in summer 1993, I guess she took classes with him until 1992. She then took classes with other prestigious acting coaches as Uta Hagen, but still says London was a very special person to her.

why not? U wouldn't credit, I don't know, Geena Davies's performance in "Accidental Tourist" just because she was taking acting classes at the time? A lot of actors prepare for their role with the help of an acting coach. And remember that Elizabeth was almost at her tv debut.. I guess all the cast memeber were taking acting classes at the time.

If she should get total credit then why did you bother mentioning that she did good in that Ep because she had a great acting teacher?

If she should get total credit then why did you bother mentioning that she did good in that Ep because she had a great acting teacher? Just like with every talent (dance, singing, instrument playing, etc.) there comes a foundation of classes. Sure, there has to be some kind of natural talent that influences once's interest....but that's why classes, training, practice comes to play. You perfect and improve upon your talent. A great teacher can bring out great talent and performace from every performer. Any coach, teacher, instructer, should definitely be credited. In this case, she was being trained by a great acting instructor. He doesn't mean that it was JUST because of her teacher she did such a great job. Her natural talent was being perfected and it was brought about with her performace in this episode because she was being trained by a talented instructor. There isn't anything wrong with that.
