Erika took the words right out of my mouth on this thread. Yes, Elizabeth did an excellent job in that episode.

That episode had a big impact on me as a kid and I think I remembered it more vividly than any other scene in the series after the fact....definitely a "moment".
Also one of the best episodes as a whole.

I think it was great acting too, it's one that will always stick out vividly. In a job I had years ago there was a girl who used to take a lot of caffeine pills like Jesse in that episode, so just goes to show like everything else it does happen.

I was actually watching that episode yesterday and my mother complimented on what an amazing actress she was. I never knew she was taking classes while doing the show though. Another reason why I loved her in that episode because it seemed as if she wasn't scared but really she was, and she did an excellent job in portraying that.

I honestly think that episode was lame, Jessie acted like she was on crack or heroin, But she was only on caffeine pills "I'm So Excited.. I'm So... SCARED!" Was a laughable line

Having never taken any kind of illegal drugs or stimulants I may be off base here...Having said that, I think Berkley's acting in this episode is wonderful. It may be a bit over the top for caffeine pills, like I said, I don't know. What I do know is that the idea behind this episode was a kind of PSA for kids on Saturday morning to NOT mess with things that they know they shouldn't be messing with, caffeine pills or otherwise. It was Peter Engel's first attempt at saying, "There's no hope with dope." And for that I applaud Berkley's acting and the rest of the SBTB cast, writers and crew for taking a stand.

Another thing with that episode was to send out the message that just because a drug is legal, doesn't make it safe.
