Well, I was sent an e-mail this morning from someone who works at a club where Dustin is currently performing in. He sent me a very nice letter about his experience with Dustin that I would like to share. There are interesting DVD inside info from Dustin. He asked to be anonymous. Here is the letter.
Hey I just wanted to email you some interesting tidbits that I have picked up on Dustin the last few days as I work at a comedy club that he is currently performing at. First he is drawing record number crowds and we have had some very big names but none have drawn like Screech. After the shows he sells 8x10s, old scripts from the show or you can take a polaroid with him and he will sign that, I'm ging to be having him sign my seasons 1 and 2 DVD. When talking of the DVDs he said that seasons 3, 4 & 5 were all coming out together(he must be msitaken but atleast 5 is definately on the way). He said that he had to go in and film commentary for the seasons so seasons 3 & 4 should have extra features, atleast commentary from the cast now. He said his commentary should be rather amusing. Hes a VERY nice guy, after his first night at the club he came around and introducced himself to EVERYONE that works there. I had the task of driving him to the hotel that night, and picking him up again on Friday. Hes very cool and we spent the car ride talking about everything from girls, his band, his goals, how he got into comedy and even some Saved By The Bell. When he was hanging out with all the employees he was asked about the College Years and somebody mentioned the new class to which he replied " We dont talk about that", he was asked why ahd honestly stated "becuse they sucked". He has also said that the only member of the cast that he talks to now is Dennis(Mr. Belding). Thats really all I can think of for now, hes @ the club for the next 2 days still so I may have more. I just thought it interesting that he still had old scripts hes selling and that They will have commentary on the upcoming seasons from the cast and other seasons should be released. I'm going to try to ask him next time about the summer at the beach, the las vegas wedding and other things will be put onto dvd.
