I read an article that mentioned that Dustin Diamond had auditioned for the roll of Shaggy in the live-action "Scooby Doo" movie. Apparently Diamond believes that he didn't get the role due to "political" reasons. Does anyone know what these political reasons might be? Entertainment Weekly interviewed him when Seasons 3+4 came out, and he said the studio went so far as to tell him that there were no plans for a Scooby Doo movie, and then a few weeks later it came out. LOL Yep. They just did`nt want him. "Political" is the polite way of saying "I got rejected cause for 10 years I was Screech." |

I really think he would't have been a good shaggy anyway matt lillard did a great job..
