Kevin was Screech's best friend! He was the only one who never tried to take advantage of Screech. It was a shame that they killed him off.

They should have at least brought back Kevin for a couple episodes on the New Class. Kevin and Screech could have taught a math or science class or something like that. Maybe Eric Spani (Jessie's step-brother) stole him or something. Remember how Spano was only in two episodes and then left for no explained reason? He was probably on the run from Screech and the cops with Kevin in his car.   |

Yeah i was a bit confused on how eric said he was gonna stay at bayside after saying he was gonna move but disapperaed off the face of the earth by the next episode!
Saved by the Bell did this quite alot though... Like the unexplained absensce of Kelly and Jessie...

I always assumed that Screech had invented Kevin. I figured that this was a safe assumption because Screech invented a robot even more advanced than Kevin in the New Class.

I always assumed that Screech had invented Kevin. I figured that this was a safe assumption because Screech invented a robot even more advanced than Kevin in the New Class. I've never seen that episode of TNC. Thank you for the info. |

It's from the 4th or 5th season and the name of the episode is "Science Fair." Screech made the robot for one of the Bayside students because he wanted to win a science fair competition for the high school. I think that Screech actually made the advanced robot in about a day. This, of course, makes one wonder why a supposed genius is hanging around his old high school acting as Mr. Belding's lackey. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense...

They focused on Screech's intelligence in the beginning but then he just comes... less intelligent? lol I don't want to say dumb but he just doesn't think. I think that Kevin was the greatest character on the show period! I think it would be terrific if this board had a link for people to post things about Kevin. I agree that Screech did degenerate as time progressed on the show. In the beginning he was smart but socially inept, by the end of the new class he was still socially inept and acted like a complete buffoon. To bad they wrote it that way. They shoulda left Kevin in it the whole way through, then Kevin coulda wised the writers up when they were trying to make a fool out of Screech! |
