Ok, I don't know what to think of all of this. Should I feel bad for him? I don't know if I do. I support him, but I don't know if I feel bad for him. I just don't know what's going on. Is he really broke or is he just creating some shirt to get well-known again? As for his umm "python," that's really disturbing that he's going to sell pictures of that for $100 a piece...along side MP's headshot. Gross.
And QK, his father really did take his money, leaving Dustin to start over. He still earned the money after he turned 18 on The New Class though, but still...

There's more to it, but it's not really appropriate to discuss. lol You can find it here: www.howardstern.com/rundown.hs I'm sure that link will only work for the next day though, then it will move to the archives.

Ok...I'm confused why they have to take the house back if it's worth more now. If he fixed it up then there should be no problem right? And $250,000 for a house in Wisconsin...that's a lot for that area, correct? Why not sell the house back to the bank and get a cheaper house? I don't know all the technical stuff, so I don't know if he can do that, but does he REALLY need a house worth a quater of a million? Get a house worth $100,000.

that would be interesting to go to. if its not too far from where you go. It depends where at in Pittsburgh. I live about 30 minutes outside of Pittsburgh, but Pittsburgh is huge and with traffic it could take about 2 hours to get to where he's at. Not to mention a lot of places like that require you to be 21 and I'm 20. I'm up for the drive...heck, I went about 4 hours to see Dennis lol But I hate stand up...but it'd be a great opportunity and I'd be supporting Dustin.

he can blame his dad for his credit all he wants but he's been adult long enough and it seems like he's terrible at making business decisions...

Hey guys. I went ahead and posted the news on the website. I think we should just not pay too much attention to this and just take it with ease. Meaning, let's celebrate it and just try to help the guy out. I find it quite funny. (Although, I do respect and I kinda feel badly for him.) But I do hope he is able to accomplish this successfully. It seems like something fun and I don't think we should take it too seriously. He's having fun with it...why can't we?

Dustin Diamond needs to give us more information about this "land contract" he entered into to purchase his house. I would bet that he hasn't been making payments on his house for awhile and now is upset that he's about to lose it to foreclosure. I think that if he's upset at anyone he should be upset at himself. He's obviously in over his head on this property and it appears as though he's going to lose it. If I entered into a similar land contract and failed to make the payments, I would expect to lose the property in foreclosure. That's the way the world works.
Believe me, the bank he's using would much rather have him make his payments than to have to repossess the house and sell it at auction (which I assume they will have to do). Banks frequently do lose money this way as they often don't get the best prices through the foreclosure and auction process. It's probably even worse now with the weak housing market. People like Dustin who take out loans and don't pay them back end up costing all of us more money in terms of the higher interest rates.

he can blame his dad for his credit all he wants but he's been adult long enough and it seems like he's terrible at making business decisions... You're probaly right. I disagree. Dustin is only 29 years old. elliot sent me a PM with a link from the Howard Stern show, not appropriate for the forum, saying how his parents spent all his money. I'm 28 years old and seeing the way my parents have managed their finances, I learned how to. Dustin obviously saw his money coming in and at the sametime, being blown. He's, in my opinion, in financial trouble because he was never taught how to manage money. This doesn't mean that if he had been taught all along that it would have mattered, but if he had been then yes, this situation would be his fault. Yes, he can blame his father, but no, just because you're an adult doesn't mean you know what to do. I am confused about Dustin now, in general, but I agree with Erika as far as being supportive of Dustin. You can call me sentimental, or you can call me a sucker, but I feel for him and I'm going to supportive. But, I won't be buying a t-shirt, or going to his Comedy Acts. His brand of Comedy isn't for me.
