I just have atleast one more thing I'd like to add to this. After watching the interview and when Dustin said Jennifer would be taking care of the business aspect of, finances, I think it made it very clear that Dustin is simply not good with major financial choices. This does not mean that he is stupid. Their are incredibly smart people in the world that have talent to do the hardest things, but will admit that they couldn't balance their check book if their lives depended on it. Dustin is simply not good at making major business choices. He doesn't have to admit that to us, but I do think he has admitted it to himself by having Jennifer take over. He is in a hole, but I have confidence that he will dig himself out.  |

And he also mentioned he didn't have medical insurance. So, thats been a burden, as well. But it was raining outside my home and since I have Directv, the signal went for a few seconds....but I know he was about to give a reason why they do not have health insurace. Did anyone catch that? It just seemed he had an excuse for everything. He said it had something to do with the Screen Actors Guild merging with some other actors union, thus for a while his health insurance was suspended. It really didn't make any sense, but it's what he said. |

Oh wait! One more thing he mentioned....Joy (one of the co-hosts) asked him "Why not just get another loan from the bank?" And he responded with saying that he already tried that, but since he doesn't really have a steady income (since he does shows here and there) they wouldn't approve a loan for him. He also claimed he is his own like independent employer....gets jobs when he wants or works when he's asked. I have a question about his stand up. Maybe somebody knows. But is he part of an agency? I had a conversation with my boyfriend and he had a good point. (he has the business degree and all..lol) It seems he just gets jobs because clubs and entertainers call him up to do a show. Because if this is the case, why not start up his own production company...you know like, Dustin Diamond Productions? This way he can probably get a lot more leverage..in the sense of getting financial help, like loans and medical insurance, etc. My boyfriend thinks that he probably does it just to not have to pay taxes and banks a little more. He just profits more by the clubs just giving him what he asks for in a check made to cash. Which isn't really an honest way of living. But you never know?! This is just an idea I am throwing around.....since I just think he's not really telling us EVERYTHING that has gone down in his life. Although, he claims he's being "truthful" to his fans. Most entertainment venues (With the exception of Colleges and Stadiums/Arenas) pay in straight cash. It's never really a good idea to accept a check for doing a gig. Sometimes promoters aren't the most trustworthy people |

That is so sad that because of the changes the Screen Actors Guild was going through at the sametime he and Jennifer lost their baby, their insurance got all screwed up.  But I'm still with Erika on this. Just hope everything works out for them. |

Dustin sounds shady. I`m sure he has made bad choices that he does`nt want made public or just can`t seem to admit too.
As for the tees, I bought a signed one and it was sent to me in a week. I bought it for a good joke. I have it framed in my livingroom. Everytime someone sees it they laugh. It is a great conversation starter!
I think as long as SBTB is on TBS and maintaining its popularity Dustin will have a career and can keep scraping by as he is doing right now.

Carrie, Dustin sounds Shady to me too. I just think he is making a fool out of himself the way he is going about solving his situation. I'm glad you received your signed shirt though. I still refuse to purchase one, but because you posted that you received yours, members can now know that if they choose to purchase one, they will get it. |
