UberPrints Helping to Save Screeech from Homelessness
Tuesday July 18, 12:39 pm ET
ATHENS, Ga., July 18 /PRNewswire/ -- UberPrints creates T-shirts to help save "Screeech Powers'" home. Due to poor credit and increasing real estate prices, Screeech from the popular TV show Saved By The Bell is losing his Wisconsin home. The only way to save his house from foreclosure is for him to raise $250,000 in 40 days. UberPrints, a custom apparel company, has come to his rescue.
As homelessness looms over his head, childhood star and comedian, Dustin Diamond, is left scrambling to sell at least 30,000 shirts to pay off his land contract or he will lose his house, where he lives in Wisconsin with his fiancee Jennifer.
Diamond felt that T-shirts were the way to go for other actors who have been in trouble. "First we rallied to Free Wynona. The next time we Voted for Pedro. This time we will Save Screeech's House!" said Diamond.
In response to Diamond's downfall, the UberPrints team created a custom T-shirt for him to sell. Supporters of Diamond can purchase a T-shirt with his autograph ($20) or a T-shirt without his autograph ($15).
Diamond began touring the United States and Canada performing at comedy clubs such as Yuk Yuks, in Toronto. Other comedians such as Jeff Foxworthy and Howard Stern have teamed up to help Diamond fight the corporate take-over of his house.
The T-shirts are available for purchase online at www.getDshirts.com.
