As most of you are already aware, Globat.com has recently hired Dustin Diamond to be our spokesman. We signed Dustin based on his persona as the recognizable lovable nerd he played in the popular sitcom Saved by the Bell. . Through recent talks with his management, we knew they had something big planned — but we never expected what has transpired. We are, as you would imagine, seriously concerned over the recent headlines and are in the process of determining our next steps. We have not seen or received confirmation from Diamond's management regarding the alleged tape so at this time we are reserving any judgment until further information is available. All of us here at Globat.com are very proud of the products and services that we provide. We would never want to do anything that would shed a negative light on what we have all worked so hard to achieve.

Okay am I missing something? What exactly does Globat sell and what exactly does that slogan mean cause it kinda sounds like promotion for the porno.

No, Carrie they are just announcing that they do not approve of the rumor. And they are saying that if it's true they will not carry on Dustin as their spokesperson. Globat (http://www.globat.com/) is a web hosting company. They had Dustin as their spokesperson because he is worldly known as a nerd because of SBTB. According to their terms of service they do not allow nudity or pornographic content, so I highly doubt they are promoting his video. I just think they are making it clear that they are against it and they will not continue to keep him with their company if they find out the information is true. And what I get from their slogan is that they always have someone on hand for customer support.  |
