Why didn't Max Battimo (Mikie) and Heather Hopper (Nikki) return for SBTB TOS? Didn't they want to be in it?

Not sure. And unfortunately, the E! True Hollywood Story didn't discuss that. I am sure it was the writers and producers that came up with a different character setup wanted something new. I think that's the reason. Anyone else have a theory?  *Erika* |

It's Saved by the Bell. That should be explanation enough.  Why were Zack and Lisa together in one episode and not in the next? I'm real bitter about that one. If anyone has a reason, let me know. -Kia |

I totally agree with you on the Zack and Lisa thing. I have always been upset about that. I think they could have been a cute couple. By the way, that icon you have....is that Zack and Lisa together? If it is...I love that.

The producers and writers cut Max and Heather out of the show just like they did with Haley Mills (Ms. Bliss). Obviously the audience didn't like their characters as much. They did mention it on the E! True Hollywood Story.

Good Morning Miss Bliss was an entirly different show. It took place in indiana, was junior high, the shows focus was miss bliss,zacks parents were divorced, screech had a brother etc. There are so many differences between GMMB and SBTB that I think SBTB was based on and not a spinoff of GMMB which is why only Zach, Lisa and Screech survived. SBTB was totally different.
I think the reason why Max did`nt come back the second season was because he did`nt really have much of a role on the show to begin with. He said maybe three lines a episode. The only signifigant thing about him in the show was the fact that the resteraunt was named after him ( i would guess since its called the max). I did like his character though and wish he was more a part of the cast.
