I know there are alot of continuity errors in SBTB, but there is one thing that popped into my head while watching the very first episode, the "King of the Hill" episode. In the very begining Zack is shown waking up in his bed the first day of high school. He has only 1 thing on his mind, Kelly. But since he has never been at Bayside before how does he know of her? He came from JFK Jr. high out in Indiana, so he should only know Screech and Lisa. Yet he it also appears he knows Jesse really well, but that can be explained a little better. If Zack moved to California over the summer he may have met Jesse over the summer since they live next door to eachother. But kelly?

There is no explanation. It was just a lack on the writers part. Just forget GMMB. You`ll go crazy trying to explain the whys. T

Actually, that whole argument about him knowing Jesse because of him moving in the summer and meeting her cause she was next door isn't a good explanation either because it's been repeatedly said through various episodes that Jesse and Zack have known eachother since kindergarten. However, I could see some of that logic about him moving in during summer working for him knowing Kelly. Perhaps, he moved in during the summer like you stated and maybe he met Kelly through Jesse that summer. That could easily work.
But anyway, I don't like to get into those details that much to be honest, so whatever happens or happened, whether clearly stated or not, I won't make a big deal out of it too much.

OK I got it. Maybe Jessie and Zack DID know each other since kindergarten, but Zack moved away, so they didnt see each other for a while. And when he moved back, Jessie introduced him to Kelly?

If the episode you are speaking of is the very first episode, then the DVD is not in order...I thought they made that episode to explain Slater.

And also, if Zack moved from Indiana, then was is just a MAJOR "Coincidence" that Mr Belding, Screech, and Lisa all came with him to California? And maybe Kelly jus couldnt keep a boyfriend

you just cant compare the GMMB episodes with the regular SBTB.the writeres didnt think about these things when they made the show. they are basiclly 2 different shows with some of the same characters. weird i know.

The show switched stations, correct? ...From Disney to NBC?? When that happens to other shows in the same situation, details change dramatically. For instance the cartoon Doug, the voices are changed and so are a few other things (never watched the new version), as well as Sabrina the Teenage Witch I'm pretty sure. It's just the way the stations try to make the show better. In Saved by the Bell's case it was for the better; in my opinion anyways.

I would like to think of GMMB as a "rough draft". I like to consider it as part of a seperate universe (think of SBTB as Earth One and GMMB as Earth Two like in the old DC Comics).
