And it'd have to stay friendly, it's one of the forum rules I realize we may or will have difference in opinions, but this is a discussion forum and I would like to hear what you have to say in return.

hey Barb First I'd like to thank you for asking for my opinion about this. I could't think of how to explain this so I'm going to do something I'm pretty good at. Use an example. Here it is. Pretend I work for Lions Gate. I have a very high ranking postion in this business. I am the head od one of the design teams. Nothing get's past me without my approval. Well my boss comes up to me and says (lets make my boss a she ) she has the contract to do the cover for Season 5 of Saved By The Bell. I don't care much for the show or its fans, but a job is a job and I do my jobs to the best of my ability no matter how I feel about them. I go to my design crew and tell them what they have to do and send them to work. When the finished product is done I am presented with it. If this were actually me, I would examine the cover thourley to check for any mistakes. I would have noticed that my design crew screwed up and would have demanded that they re-do the cover. I would have told them that I don't care what the cover looks like, but if I let this go out the entire company is going to be in big trouble. So lets just do it right the first time and we won't have to worry about anything. That's my example. After the cover was re-done was there any apology to us? This is the kind of apology I would have been happy with, "On behalf of Lions Gate we wish to apologize for our mistake."

This is the kind of apology I would have been happy with, "On behalf of Lions Gate we wish to apologize for our mistake." I agree with everything you said, and especially the part about them apologizing to us. I think they should have apologized, it makes them look bad...but if that's how they want to deal with it, then that's their problem. ...I do agree with everything you said, but I do feel that since we complained and begged for it to be changed that I should say thank you. That's just how I was brought up. No matter who it is, I try to say my thank yous. Yes, I know they shouldn't have made the mistake in the beginning...that's was a poor choice on their behalf...but it is changed now and I'm just thankful it was changed. This is just my opinion of course...and I know they don't care if I personally say it, but I feel it's just the right thing to do and it shows good character...especially since this forum is the one who really got things don't with their complaining haha.

Barb I'm glad I used the example. I should have thought of that first. When you said you were raised to say thank, rather someone deserves it or not, I think that is a great thing. I think that shows how much you appreciate things. Now I want to make sure no one gets the wrong idea about me. The one thing I do have a tendency to do is hold a grudge. YA THINK ;)LOL However I'm not the kind of person that sees issues black and white. I am an opened minded person. I never used to be, but it has taken me a long time and now I like to get all information before I get involved in a discussion. To show you my opened mindness, if you wish I will say thank you to Lions Gate. It won't be out of sarcasim and it won't be a "thanks" . If you type a reply and just say QueenKelly just say thanks, then I will! Barb, I'm doing this for you because of the opened mindness you have shown me and because of your interest in my opinion. Thank you for that BTW thanks for telling where the PM is.(I'm laughing as I type this part lol) ;D

Hey Barb ;D I have been doing some thinking about my last reply. What I said in my last reply was the truth, so I'm going to continue to be honest with you. I cannot say thank you to Lions Gate. I know I said I would if you wanted me to, but I would only be saying it to make you happy. the way I would be saying it would be the lie. I know I'm an opened minded person and my grudge over them is long over. I'm just not thankful for them for being forced to re-do it. But I am over it. When I told you I would thank them if you wanted me to, that was not a lie. I meant it at the time. Then I thought about. I just thought I would only be doing it to make someone else happy. I don't think you would want that. I don't believe I am being rude in this case, by not saying thankyou. If they had issued an apology then yes it would definetly be rude not to say thank you! I have personally chosen not to say thank you. Sorry
