Hey do you guys remember Danielle Marks from the pilot episode? Do you think if she continued to stay on the show she would have been a good character. Or are you glad that the pilot episode was the last we saw of her?

That was her character's name. She kind of resembled lisa a little bit.

Her real name is Essence Atkins. I think that's her last name.

I was glad to see her go. Didn't she play a similar character to that of Leslie Burke only more snobby and stuck up?

I think she woulda lasted. Slater and Alex was such a bad combination 2 me. I woulda liked it if Slater was with Danielle (Essance Atkins). Plus, SHE IS HOT!!!!!!! She look betta than all the girls on that show. It woulda been so hot if she was still on the show and her and Lisa were goin at it in the Wedding Plans episode instead of Alex and Lisa. Alex is NO MATCH 4 Lisa. Danielle would have given her a run 4 Lisa's money. Speakin of that episode, any1 find it kinda weird that Slater COMPLETELY DISREGARDED Lisa when he saw her come in wit Zack and Screech at the student union? Kelly was screamin when she saw her and I remember when I 1st saw that episode I was like: OMIGOSH ITS LISA!!!!!!!!!!!! Any1 else peep that? If so holla back!

i went to search for pix of essance atkins cuz i didn't know who she was.... i still dont know who she is. can someone tell me how she appeared in the pilot episode?

Danielle, Alex and Leslie were the original three occupants of the girls' room in the College Years. Her character conveniently disappeared and Kelly then filled the gap!
She was a lot hotter than Alex and Leslie and, in my opinion, a great actress. It would have been interesting had she stayed - but I'm guessing there's a reason she left instead of one of the others!

She was in Smart Guy. I know the real reason why they took her off the college years.... IT WAS CUZ SHE BLACK!!!!!!!!!!!! LOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! J/K. I really wish she woulda lasted. She looked way betta than Alex and Leslie combined. I aint even find them 2 all that attractive. I dont know why they always had Zack tryna persue her. On paper they looked horrible 2gether. She was too much "woman" in my eyes 4 Zack 2 handle. Thats really messed up they aint let her stay on the show. I really would have liked 2 see Slater persue her, but unfortunately we'll never know. I can't believe its been 11yrs since the whole series has been off the air. Its sad when u think about it. Only true fans know this feeling, it hurts.

Think about it.... had Danielle stayed in the dorm with Leslie and Alex, Kelly would have never moved in, would have never renewed her relationship with Zack, and the two would have never gotten married. Remember in the second episode of the College Years, Screech explains that "one of the girls moved out" and pulled strings in the registrar's office to get Kelly in the dorm. Good riddance, Danielle!!!

This is very true. If it wasn't for Danielle's leave of absence there would not be any little Zack and Kelly babies running around right now.
