Unfortunetly, I don't get ESPN. But I have no dought that he will do a GREAT job! He has so much experience in all the fields he will be talking about. I'm with you Erika! I love the guy! He always has a smile on his face and he is so full of positive energy. Thanks for the article Murphybrown.

I am glad you guys like the article. It was one of the best I have read about him. I was surprised he commented on his marriage. He is usually very private about his personal life. I heard him say on the radio he felt the private life should be kept private.

I know what you mean about the question about his marriage. I think he did a great job answering his that one. I don't defend what he did when it comes to his relationship with Ali. But the truth is, we don't know him, we really don't know what went down, but the situation has been resolved! She chose to end it with him. Maybe they just were not meant to be. But I do agree, keep you personal and professional life seperate! But ALWAYS put you personal life first. In this business, if you put your personal life first, you always have people that will be there for you if something happens in your career.

I have seen the show but I don't watch it everyday. I am not that into sports. I have seen articles on the web the ratings are not very good. One article said people who watch ESPN/2 are mostly 'real sports' fans and are not into the 'hollywood/sports' connection and ESPN/ESPN2 are 'real sports' fan channels.

Well, whether the show stays or goes, at least they gave it a try!
It would be nice if Mario were on a show on a station that I get!

I have seen the show and i think he does a really good job. I watch it every day I don't suffer from an addiction...I enjoy every moment of it! Not that I'm a sports addict. It's more of a Mario Lopez addiction. But, back to the subject. The show is pretty interesting and and both Mario and Thea do a great job. I do have one comment though. Mario looks really short on the show. Any of you who have met him out there, about how tall is he really? they say he is 5'10.5" but always round it up to 5'11", but he seems like he has to be shorter. I've noticed that almost every single person on pet star was taller than him, even the women. Either almost every single woman who has appeared on the show is freakishly tall, or mario is shorter than they say he is. Those of you have actually met him. How tall is he? mariodrummer, you've met him. Can you remember about how tall he is?
