www.contactmusic.com/new/xmlfeed.nsf/mndwebpages/berkley%20.refuses.%20to%20answer%20spit%20questionHollywood actress ELIZABETH BERKLEY reportedly left an American journalist speechless recently, when he asked her if she could spit as well as she did in SHOWGIRLS. Berkley repeatedly spat on co-star KYLE MacLACHLAN's face during take after take on the set of the 1995 movie, and so writer BAIRD JONES asked her if she could still unleash phlegm as well as she used to. Berkley curtly told the writer, "Talking about spit is so far beneath my dignity that I won't even recognize that question." Jones tells website PAGESIX.COM, "I walked away and a few minutes later, she followed me over and started furiously berating me for my 'silly' question. I guess I should be thankful that at least she didn't spit on me." ------------------ Good for her....what a scumbag that journalist is for doing that!

Haha. That cracks me up. Sounds like to me, after all these years, she still has a little bit of Jessie in her. www.contactmusic.com/new/xmlfeed.nsf/mndwebpages/berkley%20.refuses.%20to%20answer%20spit%20questionHollywood actress ELIZABETH BERKLEY reportedly left an American journalist speechless recently, when he asked her if she could spit as well as she did in SHOWGIRLS. Some say Showgirls ruined her career. I think it gave her an identity outside of Saved by the Bell.

Am I the only one here that thinks she overreacted? If she didn't like the question all she had to do was ignore it or laugh it off. The fact that she said the question about spit was beneath her dignity, but yet it wasn't beneath her dignity to spit in the movie in the first place. I don't know I guess I don't understand her making a point of walking back up to the guy just to give him crap about asking a simple question.

Ha, I kinda agree with you, wellz6. It was a dumb question, but it wasn't malicious. It's not like the reporter asked her to give him a lap dance or something.

Guys, if you knew anything about Elizabeth Berkley, you would know that she is a very respectful, positive, and inspiring actor, but most importantly, she is all of this being a genuine person. The question was, point blank, ignorant and stupid. And I don't blame her for wanting respect. This frankly was a disrespectful question. And if you were supportive of Elizabeth you would agree.

Ok so how is it disrespectful to ask her that question, but it's ok that she spit in the movie to begin with? You can't go and do something in a movie and then get pissed when someone ask u a question regarding that particular incident that YOU acted out in that movie.

You can't go and do something in a movie and then get pissed when someone ask u a question regarding that particular incident that YOU acted out in that movie. It's simple. It's a scene she played in a movie. That's all. Not something that needs to be discussed that is really important. What purpose will it serve in a discussion. It's not worth a conversation. And it is degrading. As if her spitting is her only talent?? We don't think so.

Well I doubt the interviewer was trying to imply that spitting was her only talent. I just think it was a harmless question. I have a good sense of humor so I personally would've just laughed it off and forgot about it.
